Never Treat Every Client As Same

God has made everyone different in terms of look, thinking, mindset, skill set, talent, behavior, attitude and the way one receives and responds.


In short, our clients are never homogeneous!


I have worked with many towkays ( business owners ) in the past when I was in the corporate world as Group CFO and CEO, and in my current capacity as a Corporate Services provider to many of my business owner clients.


They appear to be similar – ie passionate in their own businesses and possess with never-depleting energy level and drive.


However, one thing for sure, they all look different, think differently, have different mindsets, possess different skill set and hidden talents, behave very different, handle people and matters with very different attitude and EQ, receive and respond very differently.


Should CBO ( my corporate services firm ) have used one mold to fit all our clients, we would not have stood out among so many big corporate services firms in this very competitive industry, and we would not have grown to what we are now in just slightly over 3 years.


Being able to Differentiate our supposedly commoditized services and our Delivery exceeding Clients’ expectations are key to remain at the forefront of Corporate Services industry.


For example, a prospect client had initially just wanted to incorporate a company, and after chatted with us, the client had a better understanding which country to trap his profits, how to pool his cash, how to move cash across entities and countries, etc, this prospect client had decided for us to help incorporate a few companies for him instead of originally intended just One.


Another example, another Prospect Client who was looking around for a new outsource accountant after the fiscal year end accounts have been closed before changing his current outsource Accountant. This Prospect Client after talking with us when we suggested various ways to “plan” for his year end profits in such a way to “optimize” both his year-end company corporate income tax and his Personal Income Tax, that this prospect client had decided to engage us immediately rather than waiting until his accounts were closed by the current outsourced accountant. This Prospect would rather we handle his fiscal year end Accounts Closing matters as soon as we could possibly lay our hands on them.


We Listen, We Offer Solutions and we Protect the business owner clients’ interests.
