Conventionally we would think of increasing sales, selling prices and negotiate with vendors to lower prices forward would be the only few ways to help increase our profits.
Think out of the box, try asking your key chosen vendors to give you Rebates, and even rebates retrospectively, when you are about to close your fiscal year end to stretch your bottom line.
Explain to your vendors how much volume you have given them for the past year, and how much more you will be giving them in 12 months forward.
Also explain to these chosen vendors how much margin squeeze you have faced in the past, and will be facing going forward.
Most of the time your chosen vendors (supplying you with large volumes annually) will show appreciations, and you will get some retrospective rebates back.
This may be an innovative way to add to your fiscal year end profits.
