Set 5 routine monthly meetings to keep taps on your business and drive your respective Heads of Department
When the month just ended, meet every 1st Work Day of following month for Monthly Sales Meeting (MSM) to review Customers Orders Booked, Fulfilled, Backlog, Complaints, Sales Invoices generated, Refund Status, Flash Sales v Budget numbers, Status of Sales Actions, etc. Also review Year-To-Date Sales numbers. Key men attending will be you as Business Owners and your Sales Team.
On 10th Work Day of each month, have a monthly Business Review Meeting (BRM). Your Accountant will submit Financial Statements and completed Balanced Score Cards to you for purpose of this meeting. Attendees are your Heads of Department. Take this opportunity to reveal some numbers and gaps to them.
On 15th of every month, have Monthly Operations Meeting (MOM) to drive Production Operations, Status of Capital Expenditures and Project Investment (like IT platform, etc). Key attendees are your COO, Operation or Production Team.
On 20th of every month, have HRM or monthly HR Meeting. In this meeting, discuss all HR matters and issues, staff performances, motivations, recruitments and counseling, training, HR System, Leave status and Plan, etc.
On 25th of each month, have MDM or Monthly Directors Meeting. Directors shall meet to discuss gaps for the month and strategic directions for next month.
Try out this routine meetings, very effective to drive your business.
Set up a Whatsapp group for each monthly meeting. You as Business Owner can document meeting minutes, Actions and To-do list in points form inside these Whatsapp groups, refer to these Minutes in next same monthly meeting to ask if Actions were done.
I did these 5 meetings last time on monthly basis, business became auto-pilot run after just 2 months.
