Sincerity And Client Intimacy Are Key To Own USP And Client Retention

My clients are like my friends. They would call in the morning and would say they have something urgent to ask me, need see me in the afternoon. Very often, I would try to shift my schedule around to accommodate.
Today, a client texted me to say she needs see me in an hour on something very urgent, I cut short my earlier meeting to meet her. She was filled with happiness after our “urgent” meeting.
I would schedule casual lunches with my clients to find out more about their latest development, and offer some advices and help on the spot.
Then a client called me to say he is currently having serious cash flow issue. I analyzed his business for him, re-prioritized his Cash Flow payment schedule to ensure it matches with Inflows, and offered some tips on how to manage his unpaid vendors. My client was so happy. He said, never knew so complicated matter can be made so simple by my touch.
Just this week, a client aged 75, called in the morning to request to see me to seek advice on valuing his business as he wanted to exit via trade sale. He came in later that afternoon. I perused through his books in detail, offered some valuation tips, he left my office a completely Happy Man.
My clients said this same thing to me – “Kelvin, you understand my business and me more than my wife or my partners understand me, you are such a value business partner, always ready to help”.
