Going 2 Levels Down When Directing Work Of Our Fellow Team Members To Get The Desired Result And Ensure Synchronization Of Mindsets

Just sharing a power tip to achieve greater work efficiencies here.

My corporate services firm has this work hierarchy – Partners, Accounts Managers, Accounts Supervisors, Accountants and Accounts Executives. The Partners being the most senior, and Accounts Executive being the most junior.

Whenever a Partner delegates work downwards, the Partner would brief the Accounts Supervisor with the Accounts Manager sitting beside to listen what, When, How and How Much exactly need to be done. The Accounts Manager would then supervise the Supervisor to complete the assigned task by the Partner.

Likewise, when the Accounts Manager needs to delegate downwards, the Manager will brief the Accounts Executive directly with the Supervisor sitting just beside to listen to the whole briefing. The Supervisor would then supervise the Accounts Executive to complete the assigned task to the complete satisfaction of the Manager.

This formula of Leadership and Stewardship was proven very successful in aligning work goals and strategies, and reliable achievement of assigned tasks during my Corporate CEO and CFO days.
