Maximizing Your Time By Knowing Your Sleeping Cycle

An average human being has a sleeping cycle of 3-4hours. This means, if your sleeping cycle is, say 3.5 hours, when you have slept 3.5 hours, you are actually as fresh as if you had just slept 7 hours. However, if you have slept 6 hours and woke up in the middle of your 2nd sleeping cycle, your energy level will actually be worse than if you just had 3.5 hours sleep.

How can we maximize our sleeping cycle to maximize our productivity ?

Let’s say, you can work best in a very quiet environment, perhaps it’s good that you go to bed early, say at 9pm. Then you wake up at 12.30am to do some office work before you go back to bed at 4am, to wake up at 7.30am.

You will find that you can actually achieve much more in the few hours between 12.30am and 4am.

This has helped me a lot in my younger days.
